I may have had an original thought! I made 12" Friendship Star quilt blocks to be Advent candle mats. They could be a variation on the traditional Advent candle wreath. (I used the candles I had rather than the traditional purple and pink tapers) I'll sell them at the Handworks Art Sale which is Nov 4 from 9-4 at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church.
If you're interested in making one, I'll publish the process when I have time to edit the pictures.
