MUSIC OF THE SPHERES 2 and 3
These are 22"x32" and the latest in that series. The title is from the first verse of the hymn "This is my Father's World": "...all nature sings and round me rings the music of the spheres."

PRAISE THE LORD 1
The end of a favorite hymn is embedded into this piece which has the line "Praise the lord never let your voice be still."

MUSIC OF THE SPHERES 1
This is a new piece from the weekend. I like the closeups as well as the full size piece. There will be more in this series.

RED BARN ON A BLUE FARM
One of a new series of tissue collages that may grace a new restaurant in Fennville, MI.
It's called the Salt of the Earth. Should be great food and good art!

The bottom photo is a painting I did in 2004. After I finished it, I started another take on the scene but it got way too tight and detailed. I got frustrated and painted most of it out and started over but then turned it to the wall. This weekend I took another look at it and brought it to a finish. Same location, different take on the landscape.

CRAZY PAPER QUILT
I did this to fit a long frame that's been languishing in the basement. It turned out pretty cool, if I do say so myself. I love elongated compositions. Details of the piece are on the next post down.
