CRANBROOK MORNING

This is yet another painting I've reworked this year. I just put a couple of hours into it and I like the result. This one is destined to go to Colorado. My daughter had custody of this one for a number of years and then it came 'home'. Now it will follow her out to Golden, Colorado.

Hi V! I'm assuming the top pic is the earlier version? There are elements of each that are attractive. The contrasts and depth are improvements in the second version, but it's tighter and not as windy-feeling. Maybe more leaves painted back on the tree closest to us might bring back the windy feeling that is so soft and warm in the 1st?

Good eye! Yes, I missed some of those qualities too, but hey, it's winging it's way to Golden, CO- we'll see what the kid has to say about it...

Comments saved to use on another picture! You know about these things!!

I'm sure she'll love the new version too, Virginia.
