ABSTRACTIONS

I'm back at the Franciscan Center in Lowell, MI again this week. This time, I'm taking a workshop with a wonderful artist and super teacher named Linda Baker. I'm completing compositions on some unresolved paintings that I started in another workshop with Kathleen Conover last fall. It's cool to have the underpaintings done and to work on them after such a while. They are very textural and layered. It's like coming at them with new eyes. It's very exciting and when I have time to photograph the ones I've taken closer to completion, I'll do some posting.
