I bought a wood burning tool and I've been experimenting with it. I'll be using it to make some signage on barnwood for Salt of the Earth (our favorite restaurant) in Fennville, MI. I was just freehanding the letters on the experiments. I hope the finished pieces will be clean and neat and mimicking the font of the restaurant logo ! The best part is that I'm getting paid in gift certificates!! Delicious.

I'd say your lettering matches the font of the restaurant perfectly. I love the horizontal texture you created the left of (behind) the letters - it really looks like they are in a hurry. I love it when design represents a concept so well; great work, Virginia! Trying this new tool also probably injected some renewed enthusiasm for being an Artist huh? (and we could always use a little dab 'o that!)
