how to finish
I may be the Queen of Starts. Here's a piece that's waiting to be completed. I love the textures and the colors, but the composition needs to be pushed.
Thanks, Robin. I think I'll just leave it marinate a bit longer. I actually painted it with a silver frame in mind and I think that would be the wrong choice. Darn. I wanted to fill that frame and get it out of the basement.
Gee Virginia, after looking at this a bit more, I think I'd leave it the way it is. Maybe if you do want to do something to it you might glaze over the outer edges some, to focus attention more to the shapes inside. Put it aside for several months, and when you come back to it you'll be able to see what you want to do.
Hmm, interesting one Virginia.. It has a moody feeling. It also reminds me of a cliff somewhere in Bolivia. I kind of like it as is. No pushing required.

Virginia,
I think this is absolutely fabulous. The composition seems both elegant and organic.

Nice to hear from you. You must be busy!

Thanks, Merle.
