LIGHT THROUGH RED TREES #1
This is 12" square. A little larger format. Yet another take on the burning bush. One commenter made the connection between this work and the burning bush where Moses encountered God.
Yes, it's a lot like that on a fall day with the trees blazing.

I can draw a little, but I'm terrified of colour. I wish , I wish, Iwish I could paint like you. (I do fabric things with colour and thats alright--but not paint) Love the burning trees
Thanks for the compliment. Glad you like them! It's a learning process and you could learn. If it's what you want to do, start messing with paint and reading some books. I've been painting for YIKES at least 40 years and only now do I feel like I'm hitting my stride. The more you do it, the better you get.
I'm honored to be compared to Alex Katz in any way. He's very gifted, I don't see a resemblance in our work, but mine reminds you of his energy? Excellent! Thanks.

Lovely work Virginia. Are you familiar with Alex Katz? Your work reminds me of his energy.
Thanks for your kind words to me.
Love,
Linda
